Michael and Ashley got married on the most beautiful fall day. The leaves had just started changing, the sun was shining and there was a light breeze. Laube Hall in Freeport, Pennsylvania made for an amazing venue for these two lovebirds to tie the knot and celebrate with their closest friends and family!
Ashley prepared to marry her best friend with her closest galpals, her mom, and her mother in law. She was presented with a beautiful box that was filled with letters. What a way to kick off the day! When I asked what was going on, her matron of honor said, “We all wrote her letters. She was THE best maid of honor for me. We wanted to do everything we could to make the day special for her.” Such a sweet addition to an already meaningful day. Needless to say, there were a lot of happy tears.
The cranberry color that Ashley chose for the dresses and accents was so beautifully saturated. It felt like a perfect fit with the changing leaves and autumn vibe. One of my favorite personal touches had to be be that Ashley and Michael chose to have their grandparents act as ring bearer and flower girls which is a trend I’d love to see catch on. :) My second favorite was when Ashley’s dad surprised her with a rock song for the father-daughter dance. Her expression: priceless.
It was a beautiful day full of love & laughter and I am grateful for the opportunity to get to document every special moment!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Massart!
