Meghan and Andrew are two of the most thoughtful people I’ve ever met and I think that was perfectly reflected in their wedding day! The couple chose to get married in the backyard of Meghan’s childhood home in State College, PA. When I visited days before the wedding to scope out the space, I couldn’t believe how perfect it was for photos. Not only was it beautiful, there were so many perfect little pockets of interest (including a tire swing)! It felt like it was just meant for this event.
Meghan happens to be my husband’s cousin (and also one of the most naturally gorgeous humans I’ve ever met) so this experience of documenting their big day was especially meaningful for me. Having married into a massive family, it isn’t often that I get to spend a concentrated amount of time with any one person. I loved getting to know Andrew and Meghan more intimately and seeing their love in action.
From the beginning of the day through the sparkler exit, their wedding day was so lovely. Every little details was perfectly thought out. My absolute favorite was when both Meghan’s dad and her stepdad walked her down the aisle. They were both so happy to be with their gorgeous daughter. This was one of many moments that was just overflowing with joy.
Meghan and Andrew, I am so grateful you allowed me to document your wedding day! Congratulations, again, Mr. & Mrs. Hess!!
