Jason and Korey are Married!

Korey and Jason were planning to have a big traditional wedding in April.  I met with them to discuss plans for their wedding on Sunday, March 15.  The following day, the Pandemic closures began which forced them to move their wedding day to a Friday in July.  I think we all expected a return to normalcy then.  Unfortunately, that was not the case.  Just two weeks before their rescheduled wedding, they had to move it outdoors in order to avoid having to cut their guest list even further.  Their creativity and resourcefulness kicked in!  In 2 weeks, they turned their backyard into a magnificent wedding venue.  I was somewhat familiar with their neighborhood but never could have imagined how beautiful the transformation would be.

Despite the high temps, and all the craziness around the Corona Virus, Korey and Jason had one of the most beautiful weddings.  I am so happy for them and so indescribably amazed by their resilience and creativity.   If ever there were a case of taking a sour lemon and turning it into lemonade, this is it.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. McCormick!
