Stacia-Fe and Ben have the most beautiful chemistry.  You might remember them from their engagement shoot. No surprise – they had an absolutely amazing wedding day.  Everything was so intentional and so meaningful and I was in total awe of how hands on they were – making signs, creating centerpieces and bouquets, all with ease and delight.

The venue, Fern Hill Weddings in Petersburg was the perfect setting.  I was unfamiliar with the property until the week before the wedding.  Even after having looked at hundreds of photos online, I was AMAZED by how incredibly beautiful and versatile the C. Barton McCann School of Art was in person.  Every inch of the property is crawling with charm and it is maintained to perfection.  I cannot imagine a more perfect location for two nature-loving individuals to say, “I do.”  And frankly, I think any photographer would attest, it was a dreamy place to get to photograph two people so in love.

My favorite part of the entire day was when Ben and Stacia-Fe read their vows.  They were so beautifully personalized but what I loved most was seeing how moved all the guests were.   And my second favorite part of the day was when Ben and his brother surprised us all with an impeccable dance to Cotton Eye Joe.  I loved seeing the guests turn to one another in astonishment asking, “Did YOU know he could do that?”

It was such an amazing honor getting to work with such genuine individuals.  I am so grateful to have gotten to document your union – Congratulations Stacia-Fe & Ben!
