Becca and Matt reached out to me about a month before their wedding because their originally booked photographer had to cancel due to the pandemic. Anyone who has ever worked with me knows that I find getting to know my clients in advance of their wedding to be a huge help in knowing their style and the chemistry between the couple. I was able to video chat with Matt, Becca, and their furbabies before the big day which helped a lot.
Matt and Becca had an awesome wedding on June 20, 2020 in Altoona, PA. The forecast promised rain for most of the day. I arrived extra early to scope out Becca’s parents’ home, where the bulk of the photos would be taken in order to find great spots in case it ended up raining all day. What an amazing property. It would be any photographer’s dream.
And just as I had hoped, Becca and Matt had an amazingly relaxed and even rain-free day. After a beautiful ceremony, the guests and bridal party returned to Becca’s family’s home in Altoona to celebrate the newly married couple. I loved that Becca and Matt had a huge bridal party which consisted of their families and a few of their closest friends. It was such an intimate and meaningful celebration! We even detoured on the way to reception to snap few photos with their pups. As a dog-lover, myself, I loved getting to go to their home and see them with their furbabies. And the photo op did not disappoint.
Matt and Becca, I am so glad you found me and so thankful for the opportunity to get to know you and document such a special day!
